The Toddler Room is a warm and inviting room that is divided into five areas where play and exploration are promoted.

As the children are still very young, short work (play) periods are encouraged. Table Top activities such as Jigsaws, Sorting and Painting are provided to develop motor skills, hand/eye coordination and basic numeracy and literacy skills. Outdoor play is important all year round. Our planning and practices focus on Aister & Siolta for quality and curriculum planning.

In Teach Na bPaisti we like to promote self – help skills by encouraging children to wash hands before meals and after activities. Children are also encouraged to clean up after play.
A Daily report sheet is given to you each day detailing your child’s day i.e. nappies, toileting, activities, sleep and food etc.
