Counselling:

a way of helping people to make changes in their life, make decisions, face new challenges, set goals and be supported in a caring and compassionate environment.

The counsellor’s responsibilities include:

Listening and helping you to understand your difficulties and concerns more fully,

Helping you set goals and assisting you to reach those goals by using your strengths and resources.

Your responsibilities include:

Being as open and honest as possible.

Attending regularly for scheduled sessions.

Setting realistic goals and working to achieve those goals.

 

Confidentiality:

We offer a caring and confidential service delivered in a professional manner.

Caring:

The counsellor will do his/her best to provide the best possible counselling. The counsellor will do his/her best to ensure that you are fully informed about the methods used to help you to reach your goals.

Cost:

The fee will be negotiated at the first session

Concerns:

Counselling works best when both parties really work together. If you have questions or concerns it is best to discuss these in an open and frank manner with your counsellor.
