Teach Na nDaoine FRC

We at Teach Na nDaoine in collaboration with The Regional Skills and Training Centre, provide facilities and assistance through Local Training Initiatives (LTIs) for unemployed persons. This is in keeping with our policy to “Break the Chain” in regard to non- attainment of educational qualifications by members of our community for various reasons. The LTI programme  is designed to provide opportunities for marginalised learners who are unable to participate in other training interventions for personal, social or geographic reasons. Local Training Initiatives are targeted primarily to people under 35 years of age, with no formal qualifications, early school leavers or incomplete secondary level qualifications. Anyone who is unemployed and over the age of 16, at any level of literacy, is eligible to apply for training courses through the LTI.
